I have been working in research since my first year in undergrad. I currently work in a molecular biology lab at the University of Utah, studying the signaling pathways associated with vascular leakage in inflammatory diseases, especially the role of the small GTPase ARF6.Learn More

Computer Science Student in Salt Lake City, Utah
My name is Daniel Fang. I am 24 years old, and I am currently studying for a Master's Degree in Computer Science at the University of Utah. My current interests involve the bridge between artificial intelligence, data analysis, and the connections and applications they have to the real world. I also work full time in the Odelberg Lab, located at the Eccles Institute of Human Genetics. Our current research projects involve researching the effects of Arf6, a small GTPase, on vascular permeability and the endothelial-mesenchymal transtion (EndoMT) process.
Outside of work, I also love contributing to my community. I volunteer at a mission home as well as donate my time and money to other charitable causes. In addition, I tutor students in various subjects and standardized tests. Right now, I am focusing on students preparing for the GRE, but even if you are interested in tutoring in other subjects, please check out my list of past scores and see if I can be a good fit for you!
In my free time, I enjoy playing sports and going to the gym. I play soccer and basketball recreationally, as well as play golf at least once a week, weather permitting. Let me know if you would like to play a round together! I also enjoy playing games online with friends. Add me if you want to play together!
